Dialogue between universities and industry plays an essential role in developing skills and supporting the evolution of today’s industrial landscape. Within this context, new collaborations have been established between CIFA, the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, and the Politecnico di Milano, two leading academic institutions in Italy and abroad.
These partnerships are designed to encourage exchange between education and industry, contributing to the development of competencies needed to address technological, organizational, and of supply chain challenges across the sector.
Connecting education and industry
The collaboration with the Catholic University is part of a training program focused on innovation and management for students enrolled in the Master's Degree in Innovation and Technology Management, organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics, and Natural Sciences, coordinated by Professor Valeria Belvedere. CIFA offers students the opportunity to engage with real business dynamics on topics that drive industrial transformation in Supply Chain Management, Business Marketing, and Finance & Risk Management.
With the Politecnico di Milano, on the other hand, the relationship translates into support for the studies of Mechanical Engineering students through two scholarships as part of the university's Seniors project for the 2026/2027 academic year, enhancing the role of technical training as a fundamental lever for the future of the sector.
People, knowledge, and local impact
These initiatives reflect an approach to social sustainability that values education, inclusion, and collaboration among different stakeholders of the manufacturing industry. By strengthening connections between universities, companies, and local communities, they aim to foster shared growth and long-term value.
Because the future of industry is also shaped through people, knowledge, and ongoing dialogue.
