Back in 2013, CIFA revolutionized the concrete industry with the launch of the first electric mixer, introducing Energya—the electric range that has since expanded with new machines over the years. Right from the start, this innovative product line has delivered tangible benefits: reduced consumption, fuel savings, lower emissions, and decreased noise pollution.
The name Energya encapsulates its essence: utilizing electric power to make construction sites more sustainable. This is made possible by BEE (Battery Electric Equipment) technology, which allows the mixer to operate in full-electric mode, completely independent from the truck, thanks to next-generation batteries.
Beyond transportation, Energya guarantees significant fuel and operational cost savings, making it ideal for urban job sites subject to traffic restrictions and stringent noise regulations. Its electric operation almost entirely eliminates noise emissions, making it a strategic choice for sensitive areas.
Imagine a world where innovation and harmony come together, a world where power and sustainability go hand in hand. This is the essence of our BEE (Battery Electric Equipment) technology. The acronym BEE also means bee in English—an emblem of balance, biodiversity, and resilience. Our machines embody the same duality: silent yet powerful, environmentally friendly yet strong enough to handle any job.
With BEE the Change, we invite you to join a movement toward greener construction sites, cleaner cities, and a future built on eco-friendly solutions. It’s more than just a slogan—it’s a call to action. Together, we can redefine the construction industry and pave the way for a more sustainable tomorrow.
BEE the Change, together with CIFA.
Energya machines cover both transportation (truck mixers) and concrete pumping (truck mounted pumps and truck mixer pumps), addressing even the unique needs of special jobsites such as tunnels and mines. They stand out for their electric operation via batteries and their unmistakable design, recognized with prestigious awards such as the Red Dot Design Award—one of the most important accolades in the design world—awarded to the first E9 truck mixer in 2014, the CSSE spritz in 2016, and the MK28E truck mixer pump in 2020.
CIFA has always believed in sustainability—long before it became a core value for many companies. Since 2023, the company has launched an ambitious sustainability plan, with concrete initiatives aimed at environmental and social well-being. Visit the Sustainability page to learn more.
