After a long career within the company, which began in 1992, and fifteen years as CEO of the CIFA Group, Davide Cipolla, close to the time of retirement from work, has decided to step down from his role as CEO. This decision stems from a desire to begin a new phase of the company and of his personal life and fully shared with the Zoomlion group, for which he will continue to work for a period, taking on responsibility for strategic initiatives in Italy.
In his role as CEO, Cipolla has accompanied CIFA through decisive moments in its recent history: years of consolidation, industrial transformation, and opening to new markets, which have strengthened the company's position in Europe and worldwide. The entire organization thanks him for the dedication, commitment, and vision with which he has guided this journey.
He is succeeded by Paolo Gandola, former CFO of the group and appointed by the Board of Directors as the new CEO of CIFA and Deputy General Manager of Zoomlion's Concrete Machinery Business Unit. A long-standing member of the Group and a key figure in various corporate functions, Gandola brings to this position a deep knowledge of CIFA and a sensitivity gained over time through close contact with people, processes, and customers.
His appointment represents continuity and, at the same time, new energy, with the aim of accompanying the company in its future development while maintaining the culture that has always distinguished CIFA: attention to people, solid roots, and teamwork.
